Greetings my NHCBC music family! This week is the first Sunday after Easter, April 19th. We have now exited the season of Lent and are now in Eastertide. With this change of the church calendar comes a change in our music. Our music will vibrant and celebratory. No more grave tempo markings for us anymore! So, this week we will celebrate the risen Christ with the singing of the hymn “Crown Him with Many Crowns”. He is not just the Lamb upon His throne but is also the Lord of Love, the Lord of Life and the Lord of Heaven.
The informal video below is on par with a mini-rehearsal (including a particular bass misbehaving) where we will learn all four parts of this 169 year old hymn. The music is attached below.
