Covid-19 and Our Church

To members and friends of the North Hills Community Baptist Church,

In line with the Center for Disease Control recommendations and guidance from Allegheny County officials during the COVID-19 situation, our church leadership has made the decision to cancel in-person Sunday and Saturday worship service, Sunday School, small groups, Youth Group and Faithbuilders, and other activities at this time.

While we will not gather for Sunday morning worship, our staff will conduct a service to be streamed online. You can join us Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. at

Important Resources

Church Giving: We consider tithes and offerings as an act of worship within the corporate family of Christ. While we are unable to receive your contributions in person, there are a few other ways to give.

  • Online: visit to give via credit card or online checking
  • By mail: send your offering to the church office (7801 Thompson Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237)

Sunday School: While we practice safe physical distancing during this time, the Board of Christian Education is providing ways for all ages to stay connected and grow spiritually. This page includes Christian Education lessons, activities, and resources for kids and adults, as well as ways to engage in discussion with each other.

Please also note that normal office hours will not be in effect through April 12. If you should need pastoral assistance, please call Pastor Tim at 724-766-4470 or Pastor Ingrid at 412-977-1072

For church business questions, please call our Administrative Assistant, Beth Spence, at 724-355-0966.

This is an anxious and uncertain time for us all, so I ask you to join me in prayer for those adversely affected by this crisis. Please notify the church if there are those you know who need help or prayer. If you are willing and able to provide help to those in need, (errands, prayers, etc) please call Pastor Tim or Pastor Ing.

In Christ,
Pastor Tim & Moderator Lori Tissue
