Welcome to our New Head Pastor: Pastor Roy Kindelberger

Hello friends! As of today, we have started a new chapter in the history of our church. Pastor Roy Kindelberger has joined us as the Head Pastor of North Hills Community Baptist Church.

As moderator, I have had the opportunity to spend some time speaking with Pastor Roy and helping to prepare for his transition. I don’t think he would mind me sharing with you that he is as excited to start as we are to have him.

As we think about our future as a church family, and all of the exciting things that are likely to come with a new pastor, I ask you to please keep Pastor Roy, and his family in your prayers. Although this is a very exciting time for all of us, any change comes with “unknowns”.  We will need to work together to help Pastor Roy get to know us. A relationship, like the one he hopes to build with us, is a two-way street and requires effort from everyone involved. The nominating committee is currently working to establish the pastoral relations committee that will be tasked to specifically work with Pastor Roy, to help with his introduction and to ensure a successful transition.

It is important to remember, like with any new job, it will take time for Pastor Roy to find his “new groove” with us. But, I am extremely confident, that before too long we will be happily worshipping and extending God’s kingdom under his leadership.

Just as Spring is bringing life back to our gardens, I can feel new life returning to the corner of Thompson Run and McIntyre Roads. Let’s rejoice together and enjoy this exciting time!

Sincerely,

Ryan Brooks
